DocuWiki (docuwiki.ru) is a note-taking service. This page explains what data we keep and why.

What we store

Visit statistics

To understand how people find and use the site, we count visits. When a page loads, your browser sends us the page address and title, your browser language, time zone and screen size, and, on the first visit, the page you came from and any utm tags in the link. From the request itself we take the browser and device type (User-Agent) and the IP address.

How we use it

Only to run the service: to sign you in, show and save your notes, let editors you invited work on them, deliver notifications and answer your reports. We don't sell data or show ads.

Where it is stored

On our own server. Sign-in codes are sent by email. Google sign-in is handled by Google; we only receive your email, name and account ID.

Sharing

New files are private: only you, editors you invited and site admins can see them. When you mark a file as Public, anyone can read it on your profile and by its link, and search engines such as Google and Yandex may index it. You can make it private again at any time; search engines may take a while to drop it. Only you and your editors can change your files.

Deleting your data

You can delete your account in Settings. This removes your folders, files and photos permanently.

Contact
